On November 17-18, 2019 a representative of the International Yiddish Center at the World Jewish Congress, Dr. Leonid Roitman from Israel, delivered two lectures at the 10th consecutive "Global Education Days". That event was held at JCC "KEDEM" in Chișinău (Kishinev), Moldova.

The first lecture dealt with Jewish writers originated from Moldova.

The second one, fully devoted to life and works of Sholom Aleikhem, was addressed to 10th graders of local schools with presence of Ms. Stell Harmelina, the director of JCC "Kedem", alongside with the deputy director of ORT and teacher of Hebrew of the ORT Lyceum Rambam of Chișinău.
