On April 5 WJC and Vilnius Jewish Public Library organized Dr. Yushkovsky's open lecture "The Pesach (Passover) Motifs in Yiddish Literature and Folklore"
On April 12-14 in the city of Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk Region, Ukraine) our representatives held the academic seminar "The Pearls of Yiddish Culture" to over 250 students and tutors of local higher education establishments.
On March 26 the WJC YC academic director Dr. Mordechay Yushkovsky provided a lecture to 65 persons from Israel who were taking part in the program "Jewish weekend in Odessa"
The seminar took place on March 23-24 in two Ukrainian towns within the youth program "Children of Holocaust", organized by WJC YC and the charity fund "Khesed Besht" supported by Joint
On April 2–4, 2017 the third and final seminar on Yiddish culture for Israeli secondary schools teachers was held in Vilnius by the World Jewish Congress International Yiddish Center in cooperation with the teachers' trade union.
