On June16, WJC YC academic director Dr. Yushkovsky provided a lecture "What Yiddish has to say in the XXI century" to 42 officers of Israeli Defense Forces
On May 31 the course of Yiddish language in the Lithuanian capital, which comprised 32 academic hours, has been successfully completed. It was the joint project of WJC YC, Vilnius University and Vilnius Public Jewish Library.
On May 24-25th, the regional seminar "Yiddish and Jewish Culture in the XXI Century" was held in Resistencia, a city in Chaco Province located 935.3 km north to Buenos Aires
