The seminar was held on March 19-21 at the Faculty of History and Philosophy of the Odessa National University. It became a part of the special academic program "Modern Jewish and Israeli Studies"
On March 12, the World Club of Odessa Natives hosted an event "Se tit zikh khoyshekh – the Odessa language and Yiddish influence on it", organized in cooperation with WJC YC
Upon request of the chairman of Klaipėda Jewish community, WJC Yiddish Center sent its delegates to provide a lecture-concert "Yiddish songs – songs of Jewish soul"
On February 22-23, lectures "Chapters from the history of Yiddish literary creations in Ukraine" and "Yiddish culture on the map of Ukraine" were provided by Dr. Yushkovsky of WJC YC in Mykolaiv University, Ukraine
